I had my headshots done a few days ago, and I was thrilled with the experience. I tend to tense up and feel artificial when I'm photographed so I was nervous going in. I had my makeup done at Kristina's studio as well. Carolyn, the makeup artist, was a pro. She's very meticulous and made sure my look was flawless. She stayed through the first part of the photo shoot to make sure the makeup was reading well on camera. Kristina has a very welcoming personality and I was at ease immediately. She discussed what I was looking for from the headshots and what sort of aura I wanted to project. She's very good at guiding clients into the right posture, angles, and expressions to get great shots. I thought the way she handled the session was effective and efficient. She took several shots, and we went through them to sort through keepers and definite no-gos. After a few rounds we had a manageable set of shots to pare down to the final 25 that I kept as proofs. Kristina is welcoming, professional, and effective. I would recommend her to anyone needing to update their headshots.

I was seeking a professional photographer with vast experience shooting headshots for actors when I came across Washington DC Headshots. It wasn't long before I booked my session.
